New shopping centre in Fez

Built on an area of 75,000 m2 with an investment of 400 million DH (excluding land cost), the city's commercial Mall hosts 80 international ready-to-wear brands, 15 restaurants and a hypermarket, as well as a 1,250 m2 children's play area. The project, designed according to an innovative vision, both functionally and architecturally, extends over three main levels and one level reserved for parking. This new urban hub dedicated to shopping and leisure has generated some 1,000 direct jobs and 2,000 indirect jobs. Located near historical sites, the Mall brings together the most prestigious and highly attractive brands and franchises for visitors. Commercially, "Borj FEZ" shows a 98% occupancy rate at opening, according to its managers, who are counting on 5.4 million visitors per year. "Borj FEZ" is fully in line with the development dynamic initiated by the city of Fez, which is currently seeing the completion of several major socio-economic and urban projects. Several personalities took part in the inauguration ceremony, including the Wali of the Fez-Boulemane region and governor of the Fez prefecture, Mohamed Dardouri, and the mayor of the city, Hamid Chabat.
