Motorways: Fès-Tanger and Marrakech-Fès, the next on the list?

Now that the motorway framework has just been completed with an important link, which is the Marrakech-Agadir section, and that the other three, which are Oujda-Fès, Berrechid-Béni Mellal, and El Jadida-Safi, are programmed, the officials of Autoroutes du Maroc are thinking about medium and long-term projects. Among them, two are particularly important. The first is a motorway link between Fès and Tanger so as to avoid passing through Kénitra. The other axis that seems to be imposing itself today is the Atlas backbone, that is to say, the Marrakech-Fès axis via Béni-Mellal and Khénifra, which experiences some of the most important traffic in the country.
