Fès is preparing to welcome offshoring professionals for the 11th edition of the International Exhibition of Contact and Call Centres in Morocco (SICCAM). This event, which will take place at the Fès Shore park on 16 and 17 May, and which includes a stop in Meknès, will be an opportunity to highlight the potential of Fès and Meknès in the field of offshoring with a view to creating a genuine regional hub for customer relations. It will also allow for the presentation of new offers and approaches for supporting and developing call centres, opportunities for creating offshore and nearshore contact centres, as well as prospects for developing customer relations internally (inshoring). "This exhibition is of great importance because it will allow us to take stock of the evolution of the customer relations sector in Morocco and to analyse the situation of call and contact centres in Morocco. With tens of thousands of positions and call centres present in 28 Moroccan cities, the sector, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary, is in good health," explains Mohamed El Ouahdoudi, organiser of the SICCAM. For him, the customer relations sector has a bright future ahead of it and there is no shortage of niches to explore.
In this sense, participants in the 11th edition of the SICCAM will have the opportunity to exchange thoughts and share ideas on the customer relations market, within the framework of round tables and conferences. Several themes will be debated on this occasion, including "Call centres in Morocco, what's new in 2014?", "What telecom solutions for call centres?", "Economic call centre for RME, assessment and prospects" and "Assets of Fès and its region for call centres and offshore IT".
Furthermore, the issue of human resources in the call centre sector will occupy an important place at the exhibition this year. Tests of written French language proficiency will thus be put in place for the benefit of young people wishing to pursue a career in customer relations, with the aim of issuing them a passport for practising the profession. Note that the 11th edition of SICCAM will see the distribution of a directory-catalogue which will offer a complete panorama of the players in the customer relations market.
