Palestinian cinema will be in the spotlight at the 20th Fez Moroccan Film Meeting, scheduled from 3 to 6 June under the banner: "Moroccan film first".
Initiated by the Association "Medi film creation Maroc" in partnership with the urban commune of Fez, this cultural event provides for the screening of numerous national and foreign productions. Having become an unmissable meeting for enthusiasts of the 7th art, this cinematographic event includes an international conference under the theme "Youth cinema: the future of Moroccan cinema", meetings with filmmakers, and tribute ceremonies to great figures of Moroccan cinema for their contribution to the enrichment of the national film library. Organised in partnership with the Moroccan Cinematographic Centre, this meeting will be marked by the presentation of three prizes, namely the "Mediterranean Short Film Prize", the "National Short Film Prize", and the "Youth and Film Institute Graduate Film Prize".
The Fez Moroccan Film Meeting, a crossroads of cultural and artistic debates, tends to accompany the dynamic that the 7th Moroccan art is experiencing both in terms of production and participation in various national and international festivals and to encourage young people to take a liking to cinema. The 18th and 19th editions were initiated respectively under the banner "Let's return to cinemas" and "Moroccan cinema between the industrial and the cultural".
