Fashion creations in celebration

Fez is hosting the third edition of the Fez Fashion Day next Saturday at Dar Batha. Initiated by the French Institute, this event is dedicated to talented fashion designers from Morocco and abroad, giving them the opportunity to present their latest collections to the general public. For this edition, three designers with original styles will be part of the celebration: Moi Anan (Thailand), Éric Raisina (France-Madagascar) and Kaoutar Youssefi (Morocco). Embracing the elegance of Thai tradition and formal Western style, Moi Anan is a young designer who blends references and draws inspiration from local Thai dresses, royal costumes and workwear. With a very original style due to the mix of cultural, traditional and contemporary influences, this designer creates new shapes and designs for our time. For his part, Éric Raisina has a great passion for transforming materials. With the variety of Madagascar's landscapes as his primary source of inspiration, he constantly evolves his research through his collections while remaining faithful to his style. His creations are presented at various events in Asia, Africa, Europe and the United States. For her part, Kaoutar Youssefi, a young designer from Fez, has an atypical background characterised by a giant leap that took her from the corporate world to artistic creation as a designer. As fashion design has been with her since early childhood, she eventually joined a renowned school. She has distinguished herself over time by her personal touch and abundant creativity. While opening up to the world, she has managed to preserve the love she has for her culture, which is why her creations bear the mark of an originality strongly linked to traditions. Furthermore, this third edition of the Fez Fashion Day will be an opportunity for graduates of the "New Style" School of Fashion and Design to present their final year projects under the attentive gaze of great designers and the public.
