About the event:

Every year, musicians from all over the world take to the stages of the Medina, exploring sounds that sometimes date back to the dawn of time. A bouquet of spiritual music is offered. Films and exhibitions are added to the programme.
A celebration of spirituality, a dialogue of cultures and religions, in short, a way to reconcile people... through music. The spirit of Fes, the spiritual cradle of Morocco, truly crystallises the inspiration that led to the creation of this event. The festival aims to "place arts and spirituality at the service of human and societal development and the rapprochement between peoples and cultures". A beautiful initiative!
This festival enjoys an excellent reputation. It is now recognised as one of the most important events on the musical scene in Fes and even in Morocco.
The concerts take place under the great oak tree in the Batha gardens, and performances are staged within the walls of the enchanting Bab Makina palace.
